Keller is the starter

Congratulations Sam! Keep your chin up Joe and keep working hard. You will see plenty of time this season when we blow some teams out of the water.

Ganz is screwed. Lee will more than likely take over next year, faster and bigger arm. I'm just not sure BC see's Joey as his guy ya know what I mean? I just hope Ganz stays, he is a hard working kid who doesnt b!^@h, we need guys like him around.

I am happy that they decided to go ahead and announce now. I hope Joe keeps doing what he is doing and prepares for each game like he will be the starter because he is only 1 play away from being the man.

Considering he is a Redshirt JR. he would have to transfer to a place like UNO so he could play. If he went D1 he would have to sit out a year which would not help his cause at all.

Ganz is a class act and will continue to work hard everyday. He isn't going anywhere.

 
To have a quality guy for clean up is great. That isnt a slight at all, Ganz is a solid kid who will more than likely play in some way shape or form.........not like Beau.

 
Does anyone know if Lee is being redshirted this year? I think it would make the most sense. It would save him a year of eligibility while he is obviously not going to start as well as give him plenty of time to rest his leg. I am very excited to see what he is capable of, i like the thought of a dual threat QB with this system. It just adds to the complexity and gives the defense one more thing to think of.

I'm sure he and Witt both will, then next year it would be Ganz RS Sr - Lee RS So - Witt RS Fr - Gabbert Fr .....awesome!

I liked seeing the ESPN News ticker last night under NCAA Football it said that Keller was named starting QB at Nebraska and they also mentioned he had transferred from Arizona State.

See it was news to people outside the borders of N. :)
