Still needing to get committs at the end of January is not the position we want to be in.

What's strange here is that Bell sounded just about set to committ. He then visists but afterward he seems to have cooled and starts looking at other options.

Maybe, but I'd bet most schools aren't filled up until very close to signing day. Or maybe don't fill up.
