I don't see it as a major loss. I like Hunter, but Craig Smith has been proven to be a real good coach - way bigger loss than Kenya is. Assistants move a lot in college athletics

Kenya Hunter is the only reason we've landed half the kids we've landed these past few years. If you don't think this is a big loss you're lying to yourself. He's the only assistant on the bench that's worth anything anymore.

Oh and to keep the list going- or Xavier Johnson

To be fair I can't say how much he helped getting these 4 guys. I've only heard he was there for Copeland since he was a former G Town guy.

I don't think he was in on Petteway or White as he wasn't here yet.

But he was the main guy on JPJ which means without him we might struggle to win any conference games this last year (without Palmer or Copeland)

Palmer originally drew recruiting interest from Memphis, Wake Forest, Rutgers, Cincinnati and Maryland. This time, California and Cincinnati showed interest along with Nebraska — with assistant Kenya Hunter as the lead recruiter — and Temple.
 

Hunter was an assistant at Georgetown in Palmer’s hometown.

He's, by far, the best recruiter on the staff. This will be a huge blow, if true.
