Mike Ekeler interview

After watching this clip, I got so pumped up that I wanted to go out to Scheels and buy a helmet and pads and tackle people walking by my house. I like how these players are already getting that "friendly relationship" with these coaches and watching the clip one lineback messed up his drill and was talking to the coach so he could get it right the next time.

Something that I really liked what Ekeler said during that interview is

"We're going to play with our hair on fire and we're not just going to do that on Saturday, but, we're going to play hard on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday."

Sounds like Ekeler coaches like he's been drinking Red Bull all day!!!

I loved when he started screaming NO NO NO NO NO!!! at that guy literally one half a second after the play started.

 
He seems like a great coach and we should be glad to have him. I watched the video with Carl Pelini as well and he talked about the attitude coming back on the defense. That got me fired up as well. :thumbs

 
I really hope that the teams that racked up all those yards last season enjoyed it because i really feel like it will NOT be happening again.
