Kiffin gone

35-20 college coaching career, 5-15 in the NFL. I know he had Al Davis as an owner which must have sucked as a HC, but I've never understood why this guy was so sought after.

Lane Kiffin is out at USC. Not really surprising. He was not Pat Haden's hire and the fan base was in an uproar even before last night's stomping by ASU.

Personally I kind of feel sorry for the guy - even though I am a Bruin alum - because he inherited a no-win situation from Pete Carroll. From the get-go he was destined to be, at best, a caretaker, at least until the number of allowable scholarships returned to normal.

The fact that Jim Mora seems to be doing well also did not help Kiffin's cause. Recruiting pundits generally acknowledge that UCLA has the upper hand now in southern California recruiting.
I don't. Kiffin did nothing to deserve that job, or any of the other's for that matter. Only sad part is, USC will probably start winning again.

Maybe ND, SoCal, and NU can do a threeway swap.
If we got Brian Kelly out of the deal, I wouldn't exactly be disappointed...
No. He yells at his players, we can't have that.

USC football>UCLA football. By far. I enjoy the UCLA program but it won't take long for USC to retake their foothold if they get a good coach in there.
