Actually it's for the most outstanding college football player. It's tough for a lineman to be "outstanding", depending on how you might interpret that. It doesn't necessarily mean the best.

 
So it's 3 players out of the past 20 years...

I find it hard to believe that Suh is playing less outstanding than the top 10 of the Heisman candidates...

Yes, he did call Cookie a punk after he made an aggressive play in trying to take the ball away from Pretty Boy Sharon Collins, but calling him a punk wasnt the half of it. When teh Devaney crowd continued to applaud Cookie, Gottlieb proceeded to disapprove saying someting along the lines of, and this is not an exact quote, 'Nebraska is known for having great fans but when their team is behind and the fire alarm goes off, they become very dirty and classless' and had some other negative things to say as well. I just thought what nerve to say someting like that, I think him and Chase Daniel outta get together and go bowling together. It's just like there's some that are jealous of our rep and are trying to ruin it.

its lame..... while it would be nice... suh dont need no trophies...... since the heisman is a curse anyway he'd be better off.......

Sounds like cognitive dissonance to me, I thought it was quite a punk play by Cookie as well, and completely meditated and pointless.
