knapplc vs. Redux

Right, well I'm thinking of a post made by one of the mods that explained the reason for the purge and the ban of Polo in layman's terms, not an eloquent retelling.  And you could just admit you were trying to be a d!(k by saying I came crying to you when it's just not true.  I don't care if you like me or not, we both know that's not how that went down.  Point is, you've become a real hard on to interact  with unless we first stroke your ego and agree with you.

I made the mistake of wandering into the P&R forum and tried to offer an objective opinion, one that wasn't even necessarily my own and a lightbulb clicked in your head and you decided you don't particularly care for me anymore.  Once that happens, everything that person does will annoy us, that's how the mind works.  So now when I post and you read it, you read it with a grudge.  I don't fault you for it, it is what it is.

There it is.  This all started with Trump.  Finally you admit that.

You were a good egg until about two years ago.  Then you started going into P&R trying to own the libs, and when we responded with facts to what you hear on Fox News, you got butthurt.

Paraphrasing the post Redux is referring to:

”They were starting to be bigger than the board”

Yes, actually that sounds like one of the quotes used.

Heh, the fact you actually believe that tells me more about you than anything else.

I'm gonna make this as clear as I can since you want to be a mule about it.

I did not vote for Donald Trump.  I will not vote for Donald Trump in 2020.  I do not watch FOX News.  I'm a registered Independent.  I've made these comments before, we've even agreed multiple times about partisan politics and the harm they cause.  If the general consensus leaned conservative in the P&R forum I would offer the opposite opinion to that as well.  It's a big reason I hate politics, the partisan aspect of it and the refusal to see that a happy medium is usually the answer as it is with most issues.

But, I'm glad you can flat out admit that your bias against me merely stems from the preconceived notion I'm a devout Right Winger.

You can't be a registered independent as an independent stands for independent of party. You can be an independent and lean one way or the other.

Just trying to add to the discussion

Also, this is America so you can be whoever you want to be so you do Redux.

My good friend Redux is correct. You can be registered as independent (at least in Nebraska and California, the only two states I've ever voted in).

Source - am registered Independent.

In Nebraska, that affords you more choices than if you register as Democrat or Republican. You get to choose from a Democrat, Republican, or straight line independent ballot.  It's swell.

PS - go vote, kids!
