As much as Pedersen wants to believe, and as much as many Husker Fans would like to believe Pedersen's comments that he wouldn't concede the Big 12 to Okalahoma and Texas, you gotta give credit to a K-State team that had the answer to any problem OU threw at them. I'm not one of those fans who will say 'we are the new kings', but if you refuse to recognize that K-State is for real, you might just get 'Stooped' over and over. Might proud to be a Wildcat!!!
No you are not contenders and never will. The Huskers will walk all over you this week.

Rd November, that post was from 2 years ago. Look at the original post date (2003)

KSU is not a perennial power and really has never been. Not to say they never will be, but they are definitely not the Big XII power, even in the north. Never were even much in the Big VIII. The Big 12 belongs to either Oklahoma or Texas from the south(mostly OU) and has belonged and will belong again to Nebraska or Colorado(mostly Nebraska). KSU is a good team, especially when Roberson was there, but they beat a not-so-good Husker team and an overrated Oklahoma team. It took Ohio State to put them in their place that year. Enjoy the victories over the Huskers while you can, once we're back it may be another 10 to 15 years before you win again.

I'm gonna go ahead and close this thread. It's over a year old and the topic starter was a guest. We don't allow guests to post. Haven't in a while.
