I am certainly not upset with a comment like this being made for a few reasons. One is the manner in which Freeman decommited. Many have said that he is a child and I believe that that is the case for many 17 yr olds, so I wont hold him accountable there, but his father was ultimately the one who set up the visit, who controlled Freeman's recruitiment, and who should have been the one to call up Callahan himself and explain to him why Freeman was looking elsewhere, and why he ended up going to K-State. None of this was done, therefore I see this comment as being a shot at Mr. Freeman more so than Josh.
I dont have a problem with Josh chosing to go to K St, if he doesnt want to be at NU, dont go there. I do have a problem how it was handled. He and his father should have been men about it, and told billy slash personally, that is classless. Maybe if billy slash was a better recruiter and actually had 2 or 3 highly rated qb recruits last year, he wouldnt be so bitter about losing this one.
Secondly, this is not national news... The only people who are even aware that these comments were made are people in the states of Nebraska and Kansas and possibly in some other big twelve states.
1) Youre wrong
2) What does it matter if it is a "local story" or a "national story"?? I can see K St or other schools using that quote to beat NU out of recruits. billy slash has made a habit of making classless, idiotic comments, maybe he should take a class in etiquette and manners.
It doesnt matter if Callahan was a saint, the coaches and players in teh big twelve are not going to give him the same kind of respect that they gave TO.
Nor does he deserve it.
We are getting more positive publicity this summer than we have had since 2001 honestly at the national level, so I am not concerned about a little comment that Callahan made to some local reporters.
So why risk putting a black eye on the positive publicity??? :dumdum
P.S. I dont agree with alot of the actions that our President takes, and will be the first to tell you which, but there is a big difference. I don't get to pick what country I live in,
Again you are wrong, dead wrong. You have the freedom to leave at any time, nobody is forcing you to stay. Actually, if you dont love the USA, you are one of the major problems with this country, and I beg you to leave.
and if I could it wouldn't be in this one at this point.
While the USA is not perfect and has its problems, it is
THE BEST country in the history of this world. Go to France, Canada, or some other socialist honey-hole.
If you dislike the coach and the administration, move to another team.
Or do what you can to fix the one you enjoy.
That is a really stupid analogy that I am tired of you making.
Its not exact, but its similiar. Im sorry you lack the intellect to understand the analogy.
