Kyle V.B.

I believe the official announcement on Pro Bowlers is Wednesday. Last I'd seen, KVB was second or so in AFC DE voting.
FWIW, Demorrio Williams was #1 in voting at the OLB position.

Also, Will Shields is near-automatic for the Pro Bowl every year and as this may very well his last season, he'll probably make it this year too.
i got something i need to rant about and here is as good a place as any...

apparently fan voting doesn't mean a dang thing for the Pro Bowl- and neither do stats apparently.

Vanden Bosch & DWilliams = NO PRO BOWL. But Mike Brown :thumbs :thumbs and (of course) Will Shields made it.

My main beef is that Freeney from Indy was given a spot over KVB. He has 33 tackles to KVBs 60 and has only 10 sacks to KVBs 12.5.

Not to mention, Freeney plays for a much better team (Colts) and a better defensive "supporting cast" arround him than Vanden Bosch has.

The Titans also had another deserving player who was screwed so i think the "better team" factor actually worked against VB here.

KVB was given the consolation prize of "pro bowl alternate" though. :steam

also, Demorrio has more tackles AND sacks than the three guys in there at OLB. the other Falcons OLB made the roster so i wondered if maybe they didn't want two LBs from the same team.... except that Chicago has two LBs in there (Urlacher and Briggs).

again, congrats to Mike Brown on making his first Pro Bowl though, that was a pleasant surprise. but I'm more annoyed by the snubs.

:throw

Couldn't of said it any better.......totally wrong.

Weasel

I agree, how the hell can that be justified that Vanden Bosch gets left off the Pro Bowl roster? 2nd in the NFL in sacks? The media strokes Dwight Freeney's bean bag enough, and he hasn't had the production of KVB. Alex Brown of Chicago also got hosed(not a Husker, but he was deserving). Demorrio probably deserves to go to the Pro Bowl over his Falcon counter part Brookings, but he is a player with a recognizable name and face, and as of right now, Demorrio is not.

I totally agree. he deserves it, ive watched him and seen his highlights all season. What a great year. Another classy husker making us proud.
