La Tech Players Outlook

Thats a pretty good article. He seems to have a lot of respect our program. Hopefully, Carriker and Co. will introduce him to our turf a few times and he will have respect for our fieldturf when he leaves as well.

“Nebraska is definitely one of the best teams in the country, but I am excited that my first start is going to be against an opponent of that caliber and reputation,” he said.  “They’re very well-rounded, both offensively and defensively."
Classy kid. Gotta love someone who loves the competition...

Someone who respects the Huskers the way he does? I hope we sack him all night, but I also hope that he comes out of it without injury and goes on to have a great career.

Agree 100% with AR. GBR!

I hope he plays well. I want evey kid who plays this game to do well. Of course I hope the Huskers play better. I never want to see a player get hurt. They work so hard year around for this fleeting moment. Normally 12 games or less of minutes on the field. Hours in the gym, hours watching film, but for just mere seconds a year. I don't care who they play for, I hope it is worth every agonizing second they have spent getting ready. They are what I live for anymore. College football, because with out them we have no game. No reason to cheer. RESPECT them and hope for their safety. They are someones son, brother or husband. They deserved to be cheered just like our fans do when they leave in victory or defeat.

This is not war, it is a game. To be played not hated.

Totally agree, though if Josh Freeman were to get dinged up just a little bit, I don't think I will have to much sympathy for him.
