I have been a Husker fan since well before I was 13, when NU only had a couple of games a year on TV.

I was and what of it? I might only be 23 but I've loved the huskers since I can remember. Age has nothing to do with knowledge and love of the team. sh#t, I remember sitting on my dads lap at a crappy Oklahoma St. game at Memorial and smiling the whole game just because I never got to see my dad and it was the one thing I could do with him where we kinda...I dunno..bonded.

I think they're talking about your over-all tone when you respond to people.

The OU game in 01? That game was awesome. I have it on video taped from tv, and I love when they show the Crouch play with Swain audio. "Crouch gives it to Thunder, who gives it to Stunts. He's got a man.....(Fiala: YES!!!)...It is....Eric Crouch, 15, 10 , 5, Ooooooooo(Fiala: YEAAAAAA!!!!!)" That was so awesome. GBR!

 
I think that my anticipation for this game is different than the national championship games or the OU game in 01 because we are on the rise and a win would do wonders for this program. This might be the biggest win that the Nebraska has had in a very long time.

 
I watched that one at the AmeriSports Bar at Ameristar...damn what a game...soooo gooood. It was right after I got out of Basic Training and me and the Old Man went to watch it while I was back home on Leave right before I went to Germany.

 
Ive been looking at this topic all week... and jsut realized the answer.

Probably the Miami Orange Bowl after the '94 season. And last year's Alamo Bowl.

 
I just heard on TV. that the last seperation saturday when there were seven games with ranked teams going against each other, that the lower ranked team won in all but two of them. Here's hoping for that to repeat and Nebraska being one of those lower rated teams that win.

 
This could end up being the game that everyone remembers for a long time. If we can get a W in Los Angeles you can bet that we have returned to the national scene and everyone will remember it as the game that turned everything around!!!! :thumbs

 
Last time I was this jacked for a game was the 2002 Rose bowl. I was obviously naive, I guess it was my rose colored glasses. :power

This game is going to be huge. We will either be back in the top 10 and a nc contender, or a team that still has some growing to do. I hope they are ready to take the nation by storm. :restore :restore :restore
