i know :)

I'm doing a project on the 60's...anyone want to help by lending me some useful information? :)
Can you be more specific as to the information you need? The '60s saw a tremendous amount of social change - women's lib (and burning of bras), the Civil Rights Act, and so on. Just as a very minor example, but illustrative - at the beginning of the '60s almost every male still wore a hat. Kennedy eschewed them, however, and as the country followed his lead, you pretty much saw them disappear. Overall, the '60s ushered in the greatest changes in terms of social structure ever - and certainly since the return of the soldiers from World War II.

Viet Nam polarized the country to a greater degree than you see with Iraq today. Music fundamentally changed - so-called "rock-n-roll" moved from being glorified folk music (a process that started in the late '50s) to the earliest manifestations of what today would be called "metal". It was, however, highly diverse - in the '60s (and most of the '70s) radio stations did not "specialize", which resulted in kids hearing the Carpenters followed by Black Sabbeth, for example.

There was a lot going on back then. Depending on your age, political leanings and other factors it was either very exciting or very disruptive.

Forgot to add...

My flip flops that I wore today has beads/stone/whatever on them. All I was doing was walking down the hall at school, when about 8 of them fell off and went under my foot, but on top of the flip flop, so i was stepping on them bare foot, and it HURT. lol
