Just topics that i can get information on, thanks.
Well, the obvious ones are the changes to social mores reflected in the Civil Rights Act and women's lib - the latter should be particularly of interest to you, since it led directly to women joining the workforce.

The Viet Nam war and it's effect on society - prior to 'Nam, the public generally trusted their governmental institutions. The war was one of the beginnings of the loss of that trust, exacerbated by Watergate in the '70s. One of the most obvious results was the rise of the "counter-culture" (what you might think of as "hippies", althought that's not strictly accurate). The '60s also were a terrible time in the sense that political assasination started occurring with more and more frequency - JFK, Martin Luther King, Bobby Kennedy...

The introduction of the first really viable, reliable birth control - the Pill - coupled with (no pun intended) an easing of mores led to the idea of so-called casual sex, and some would argue the beginning of the erosion of "traditonal" families. Folks found divorce more socially acceptable, and co-habitation without marriage became acceptable.

How's that for starters?

Forgot to add...

My flip flops that I wore today has beads/stone/whatever on them. All I was doing was walking down the hall at school, when about 8 of them fell off and went under my foot, but on top of the flip flop, so i was stepping on them bare foot, and it HURT. lol

Anyways...I slipped and while trying to regain my balance, I ran in to a bunch of people standing in line for the bathroom, which then caused them to fall over like dominos. As the last kid was falling he threw his books up into the air, which then hit me in the head and I fell backwards and ended up in a trash can upside down. The trash can had wheels on it so it started to roll and soon came to a flight of stairs. The trash can tipped over and I rolled down the stairs and, like a bowling ball, I took out everyone in my way. I was so dizzy when I got up that I stumbled and ran into some lockers. When that happened everything that was sitting on top of the lockers came down and landed right on top of me.
fixed it for you

Ew, grimey, no I didn't, but sadly I can see something similiar to that happening...

I actually made an ankle bracelet from the rest of the beads from them, its quite pretty. :)

And thank you AR, that is very good for starters.

First I'd like to thank everyone that made this possible...I'll think about you all later...

I've come to the conclusion that we shouldn't have the countdown anymore.

if anything we can count how many incidents happen, but we shouldn't count down the days that i go without an incident happening..cause honestly not a day goes by lol

I know...I know.....

BUT I SAID

That the falling down stairs counter WOULD get off of zero, not the random incidents counter...

I realize I've been kinda lazy the past few days about changing it...but I dont know what you're complaining about, I mean, it's off of zero...

Ok, ok, fine. No need to twist my arm...I'll put it at zero and start counting again.
