I've been hearing lately that he is.

But he's listed on the TTECH participation report.

 
So they pulled his redshirt to play a few snaps against Tex Tech, and he probably won't see the field rest of the year?...or am I just confused.

 
I think this staff does things for a reason. He may have been needed and now that it is gone, he will be used, or at least that is what I am hoping will happen.

 
:dunno I didnt know he was redshirting? I thought he played in the first three games? Could be wrong though.
 
I think I remember seeing him on the field before the Texas Tech game too. Hopefully he'll get some experience on defense before the end of the season.

 
I hope, because if not, what a waste of a season. The kid played a couple plays on special teams last year, a couple plays on special teams this year, and already he's a junior?? Lame!

There was a blurb last week about him possibly redshirting because he has yet to play this year. Unless they plan on having him see significant time this year, this is kind of a waste. It is also directly conflicts an article read last week, something to the effect that "there is no plan to burn any redshirts after this point".
