Yep. Bo hated recruiting and couldn't coach.

But he had only one year (2013) with fewer draft picks that he was responsible for than any year since we ran out of his recruiting classes.

Nevermind the fact that he regularly had at least as many as not more draft picks than the vaunted Callahan recruiting machine.

And we are now up to no coach in the past 23 year's best year has been better than Bo's worst year.

Well, ultimately it's impossible to 'prove' or 'disprove' a narrative like that, but best I can tell, Bo was pretty average at recruiting (#24, #40, #26, #16, #32, #22, #35 ranked classes per 247 for an average class rank of 27.9 compared to average class rankings of 26.3 for Riley, 22.4 for Frost and 24.6 for Rhule, all of the subsequent coaches with much worse program states to offer). I think his draft picks are evidence of a much more accomplished development program than his counterparts. While Callahan's recruiting machine was impressive, it didn't turn into much of anything until Bo developed those otherwise underdeveloped players into stars, and when he ran out of Callahan's talent is when his results started to slide.

His division finishes. I guess there is sort of a slide???

1-1-1-3-1-2-2

Obviously, with his ceiling being 10 and his floor being 9 wins, there's not much to look at in terms of a slide without diving in to the minutia, but the quality of his 09-10 10 win seasons being a hair's width away from conference championships and BCS bowls against elite competition feel much different than his 10 win seasons where OSU is putting up 60+ and Wisconsin is putting up 70+

As long as those are your reasons and not "But Bo was mean and didn't want to give the fans HJ's" I can be okay with your reasoning.
