Another sad part is the idea that 20 years ago a university and/or athletic department didn't get involved with a player and his emotional/psychiatric problems as they often do today. UNL but mostly Coach O did all he knew to do but it was too little too late to repair the intense damage done by his step father and mother. Once he was away from Lincoln he was like a wolf in a sheep pen with no one to keep him from self destructing.
