Held offered at his school today. OV's to Michigan State (Jan 19) and Oregon (Jan 26) but no offer from either (yet).

I knew him already from his UConn offer/recruitment. Has been quoted as saying UCF is his "dream school". Here's a writeup from the UConn message board on him: 

Been a busy week for Baldonado. Picked up offers from Cincy, Umass and UCF. There is a quote out there that UCF is his "dream school." Meanwhile Syracuse and Michigan State visited. Baldonado is apparently being represented by Brandon Collier again - same guy that guided Metz to Cincy and Welschof ultimately to Michigan.

According to Rivals, UCF signed four Dlineman during the early signing period. Perhaps they will be taking only one more rather than two. This is notable since they also have an offer out to Landon Woodson.

Out of curiosity, how does a guy like this get on your radar?  I am not an evaluator of talent nor am i a stargazer by any stretch, so i am curious how eyebrows got raised over an unrated/2 star guy.
