If he does end up here I don't envy greg Sharp.

I've had some Italian and Japanese kids play in some ball games I've called and when things get crazy it can be really hard to pronounce names correctly.

:D

Japanese names are usually phonetic. It's the Chinese names that are really difficult.

Part of it is having sounds we don't have. The other part is it's up to foreign governments to create the best English spellings and sometimes they're bad at it.

Thank you for the heads up. If I ever see a team full of Chinese kids take the court I'll pretend to have connection issues and kill the line to preserve what little sanity I have left.

:)

I was mostly mentioning it for life in general.

I always feel bad for the "announcer" at university commencements.

I'm still not sure what position we are recruiting him at, but some noise that he's the backup plan for JJB and Tannor at OLB.

its obviously pretty doubtful at this point but I'd love to find a spot for him on the team. Seems like a tremendous athlete that could potentially really take off with the proper coaching/technique
