You also have to understand that there are bridges between the program and high schools that need to be rebuilt, though, right? And that while those bridges were down, kids maybe didn't develop the connection to the University and the football program that kids in the past did?

At the risk of sounding negative, will Frost and company do this?  Meaning go after a player committed to another team?

He just said he doesn't want someone to commit until they are ready to shut it down and be 100% N.  So why wouldn't he have the same respect for a player that commits elsewhere?

I would say so.  The staff has been offering players currently committed to other teams

Hell yes he is going to do that.  He is an extreme competitor and he will continue selling Nebraska to a recruit that he really wants if the recruit is showing any interest.

 
If a player is publicly committed to a team but is still talking to other coaches from a different team, is that kid really 100% committed? Gives him power how to manage a spot if a kid is still looking around. 

 
This staff had a lot of catching up to do, when they got here. Frost still needs time to build the path back to Neb, that was there for so many years with instate kids. He should offer any and all that might just change their minds, with a visit. It would be great to see the pipeline back again. Reload every year, instead of rebuild. Like it used to be.

Also might be back Saturday. Has prom, but is considering coming for the 1st half.
