Assessing the talent: He was born to play linebacker. He’s gritty, tough and loves contact. He’s got that tough guy attitude. Had 124 tackles and 12 sacks in his junior season. He also rushed for just over 1,000 yard as FB.

Pat Lazear names favorites

Lazear, who's status is unclear due to legal problems from high school, is calling Alabama and Ohio State his top two schools, the Huntsville Times reports.

Pat Lazear could sign with West Virginia
