LB Transfer Kaiwan Lewis being targeted - Chooses Rutgers

Bray visited today and Lewis will visit next weekend. He's interested in us but he's not in a hurry to decide.

So you would turn down a linebacker that isn't fresh out of high school 18 year old. Its a scholarship commitment for one year. Not a bad deal for Nebraska at this time.

Was a 4 star recruit in HS and should be able to contribute. He was called a "b10 LB" by his coach. Is only a 1 year scholarship in an area of need. It's a no brainer, if you don't get it, you're unintelligent. He will help solve our situation with numbers at LB tremendously. Plays for 1 year while we develop depth behind him.

Taking a one year guy can also offset the LB recruiting depth so it all evens out over time. Taking 7 LB in one class can take years to get it back to a balanced level. If he can contribute with impact I'd take a one year player or a JUCO for a couple of years.

I'll worry about all this if he will even consider us. :-)

Unintelligent? Really?

To not take this guy would be unintelligent yes. Therefore if you don't want him, you'd be less smart than the average human being.
