Maybe not for you. But for him maybe going back and playing in front of his friends and family is what he thinks is best. I think opportunity wise he probably won't find a better situation then us..but family, friends and home have quite the pull.

 
You're not telling me anything I don't already know. I know he is from there, meaning family and friends. Nebraska is 100* the school Rutgers is when it comes to football.

Yep, when i first started following recruiting i used to think recruits had to choose schools based on football. But, now i think football is maybe only about 30-40% reason they choose school.
 
Really liked his visit but is still evaluating. He and his parents will visit Rutgers. Says it will be his decision.

I get the feeling that he really liked it here but is kind of leaning towards Rutgers. If it's close, he'll go there.

 
Just so were clear, he was quoted in an article today saying "distance isn't an issue" "next place I go will be for football alone." Soooo what say you guys now?

Not what they're saying at all. If every choice was based solely on football, why did Knevel come here over an offer from Bama?

Kid said his decision is based solely on FOOTBALL. Not home, not academics. He wants to get to NFL. READ GOOD!

 
Read his actual comments buddy. He said "this decision is about football" which I already posted... So for him, yes it is.
