Legal hit or not?

Probably not legal, but it should be. The rulemakers don't understand how fast the game is played. It's virtually impossible to guess where the guy's head is going to be at that exact moment. The NFL needs to go to two-hand touch if they want to prevent head injuries.

The worst part is the announcers immediately dismissing it as illegal or violent without having a clue as to the actual merits.

It will get dismissed as an illegal hit, but he never really had posession of the ball. Moore took an open shot at him not realizing he didn't have the ball. Truthfully I think offensive players should lay hits like this on defensive players when given the opportunity.

Where's the disgust for the QB hanging his WR out there to dry like that? Oh, that's right--QBs can do no wrong in the NFL anymore, and Tim Tebow isn't the QB that can walk on water.

The hit is legal, IMO. Roger Goodell is an asshat that is ruining NFL football.

Completely legal. The DB hit him with his shoulder in the chest. The thing that knocked him out was his head hitting the ground. The NFL needs to wake up and realize most of these hits they are penalizing are legal and the actual damage comes from the players head hitting the ground.
