Legs aren't supposed to do that

ive seen those kind of breaks before, anyone remember that game between rutgers and houston? the wide receiver ran into a cart in the back of the endzone, broke the leg in the shin...ouch, hopefully this southern miss player will recover

 
Reminds me of that kid, Tyrone Prothro, at Alabama a few years ago that snapped both bones in his lower leg when landing after going up for a catch. He never recovered, and his football career was cut short probably about 10 years too early. Fortunately, he was given a medical hardship scholarship and graduated this past fall. Coincidentally, that game was against Southern Mississippi. Hopefully this kid's recovery goes better.

edit - heh, should have read further into the thread. Just saw that redout22 mentioned the same injury.

Didn't a Southern Miss player break his leg in a game in Memorial Stadium? Or maybe that was PITT? Either way it was disgusting to see in person.
