I agree most of these guys have to realize they aren't going to come in and play right off the bat!!!! I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but it just doesn't happen that often. ;)

 
Starting is probally not an option for many incoming recruits, however, hard work and unselfishness should lead to some action on special teams one way or the other. When players like Rigoni, Eisenhart, Fisher, and other players are contributing on special teams for four years, it should be hard to imagine talented recruits to have a shot at atleast making one of those teams.

 
:yeah I agree with you look at the NFL they have special teams specialists that are great at what they do!!! I wouldn't care where I was playing just as long as I was playing!!! :dunno
 
the reason is, the coaching system prominsing players that they will start right away, someone needs to inform the coaching staff that this in not pro football, but college, expect more transfers, from the that top ten recruting class, none of them never saw  playing time and never wil, with juco players coming in every year, thats just a fact, coach cal is a pro football coach, and until ya'll realize that , nebraska will never be what it once was, you might want to know how i know this, you'll find out when the first pro job coach cal takes................. :WTH

Brooks coming to Nebraska was a unique situation. He had a baby and a girlfriend (don't really know if they got married or frankly if they are still together). He thought this was the better environment for his kid. Thus, it may not be that easy for him to leave.

 
sheesh, i guess we were really deep at RB. We have players i didn't even know we had in there. this Leon Johnson fellow must have decided if Jackson couldn't cut it, neither could he. best of luck to you Johnson :bang

 
Yeah it's a shame to lose this Johnson guy!!!! He had a lot of speed and he was huge 7'2" 420 lbs and a 40 time of 3.56 can you believe that!!! :lol:

and he was a scholarship player that was gong to be a walkon next year
