Yeah, they definitely did. I was pleasantly surprised in the first half and thought, wow, we really have something going here (with our newfound talent).

How did it change? After our last touchdown, 5 straight punts and four of them were on three-and-outs. Offense can't hold on to the ball, UCLA runs an up tempo attack, and the defense gets worn down pretty quick. By the time we got the ball back we were desperate enough to try a fake punt to the OL. So I'd say the game had already spiraled out of our control by then.
