Letters from Penn State

It's unfortunate that these letters were spawned out of a horrible situation but seeing these types of things make me proud to be a Husker fan.

Just finished reading these letters. Wow. Could not stop the tears. Ron Brown is a special man and we are truly blessed to have him on our staff.

Again I just wanna say how courteous and gracious Penn State alumni and fans were to us and other Husker fans attending the game.

I don't think I've ever felt more proud to be a Husker fan than I did after reading those letters. Great job to all the fans, players and coaches who were in Happy Valley.

Good letter to read and I gotta be honest, when we met them at midfield and knelt down in prayer with them........................I got choked up. It was one of the most amazing things I've ever witnessed in college football. I never expected it and that's what made it so great..................

Most sports franchises and schools claim to have the "Best Fans in the Country", but once again we have proven Husker fans are THE BEST FANS IS SPORTS! I couldn't be more proud to be a Husker today! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED! GO.BIG.RED!

From all the PSU fans that I have talked to since the game have been talking about how nice the Husker fans were and how they really made sure to make them feel good for being here. Awesome!

I feel that game will not be forgeten by NU fans or PSU fans for a long time. I can not remember anything like it since 9/11. I believe it will lead to a long time feeling of respect between the 2 programs, and a great rivalry. I will never forget the pregame on saturday.
