It only got up to 58 today with chance of showers. brrrrr. I know, pretty pitiful. But without rain it's riding weather. Or golf, or paintball or . . . .

Yeah I have a couple of cousins that moved from the midwest to Vegas and Tampa respectively. Now they are wussified and complain if it gets below 60. Jeez!

I am at least getting a little time off of work because essentially, I do alot of business on the road.

I have a generator now to so if the juice goes I am ready. 3 ricks of wood too.

Tinker and the FAA center were closed yesterday so my wife and I had a free day off :clap But we actually drove clear over to Council and I-40 yesterday to pick up some trailer fenders I found on craigslist. I didn't think the roads were that bad but my wife thought I was nuts :dumdum We stopped at IHOP in MWC and watched a half dozen cars get stuck in the parking lot. Oh how I love 4-wheel drive at times

I saw several people get stuck where the plows had pushed the frozen sh#t. Dumbasses would have just looked where they were going the wouldnt be up to their asses in slop.

My Neice and her Husband recently moved to Tampa from Des Moines..From Phx..Into my Brothers new place..and are fixing it up...

Speaking of wussification..I remember soon after I moved here from Lincoln being out in the Desert riding my Mtn Bike on the hottest day on record out here (122f) and laughing at the voice on my walkman warning people.

But this morning, it was 40ish on the way to work and I was complaining about seeing my breath way until 10am.

66f now.

Nah, I'll ride my m/c to work even in the 40's with appropriate gear. Walk like a zombie for about 5 minutes after I get to work but oh well.
