Nate doesn't think that he is the go to guy this year just because Purify is gone. He thinks that there will always be a number of different guys that are the go to guys.

Says everyone on the team loves Pelini. Says Pelini really motivates and gets you ready for things and is really football smart. Says he is social with everyone on the team not just the starters.

 
Hm, I noticed that Swift has been just calling coaches by their last name. "Callahan." "Pelini."

Zach Potter coming in now.

I like to hear that. The team bonding will only make them better, no grudges against each other.

 
nate swift...

asked if he's the new "go-to guy" for receiving, he states that there are going to *several* go-to guys for joey to use.

asked if he expected to be on-track to be a leading receiver, he said that he never really aimed for that but aimed at being consistent.

really is looking forward to the home games this season; said that last year was a roller coaster. stated that what happened was the "best case ever".

what strikes nate about pelini? says that bo talks to everyone, regardless of starting position. he knows how to motivate.

nate said that everyone looks up to joey ganz; ganz has been very vocal and a leader, even in his freshman year. nate states that he plans to help the younger players and be a leader himself.

 
Zac Potter says he thinks the loss of Dixon will obviously affect them, but he thinks the younger guys will step up and respond to the challenge well.

 
Potter thinks that the new defensive scheme is alot easier than the old scheme and it should be easier for sacks and pass rushing.

 
potter says they got a lot done this spring. says that this is gonna be a good year.
