I find kind of funny that Beebe wouldn't be at this press confrence, but than again I don't know if that is something the commissioner usually does.

When it comes to probing I think Beebe enjoys it ............ but now he is confused because he saw all of the probing reports on football so he figured he too could be probed someday when he took his job.

I spoke with Tara Mueller yesterday and joked that the Commissioner must be afraid of the girls since he didn't show up to give them their trophy, and she basically said they didn't care. She (and I got the impression that she meant herself and the rest of the team) was more concerned that Alex Henery got left off the First Team than about not getting their trophy.

Of course, I think this women's team has much, much higher goals set than just winning the Big XII this year. I believe that step would be considered a footnote for where they're aiming.

She's just really personable. I'm just some schmoe at the coffee shop - she doesn't know me from Adam - and yet she stood around chit-chatting with me a couple different times. Also, I don't find her nearly as "hot" as a lot of you guys - probably because I'm nearly twice her age.

So let me get this straight:

1. Beebe's wife files a complaint to the Dallas PD about threats to Beebe that were sent to the Big 12 HQ in Irving
   
2. Evidence of these threats is turned over to the police for investigation
   
3. Neither the police force in Beebe's home area (Dallas PD) or the area of his work (Irving PD) have any reports of these alleged threats
   
4. The Big 12 cannot release any information about these alleged threats, because the police have the evidence and it is under investigation
   
5. Yet the police have no reports of this evidence
   

Is that about right?

That's how I understand it. He can defame me as a fan and I can't do anything about. I live in Dallas, so I might have to teach my kids how to egg a house ... and start with his.
