Looks like the strength coach is pushing the players hard

Not to be a downer, but I'm always a bit leery of "this is the hardest we've ever worked in the offseason" reports though. It seems every year the workouts are "harder than ever" and the players are "in the best shape of their lives".

considering the last staff's ability to do anything efficiently...i'm sure kids transitioning from HS programs to NU felt like they were working hard, even if it was only at a NAIA level.

I like what I'm hearing about this guy.

The last staff had video of players carrying each other on their backs as part of conditioning. Incredibly stupid. You have one of the best strength and conditioning centers in the world, and you work out like a 3rd world team with no access to any facilities.

That was like a one week military-esque team-building thing. It wasn't part of their regular training.

Like what I hear so far. Lets see what these kids look and play like, when the season starts. Starting to get excited for the season to start.

As far as the last staff, they did all they could to get the program from the pits of what BC left, to at least where we being talked about again. Their gone and I thank them for their effort. Now time to move on and wish them the best of luck, and act like the "greatest fans" we all want to believe we are.

GBR!!!
