Loudest Game

I remember listening to the radio call of the ND game in 01, and thinking wow, it has to be crazy there. And that was the end of the game when nothing much was really happening. I would have loved to been at that game.

1999 against KSU the year after the facemask was insanity. Chants of "same old Kstate" (And we're #1 becuase we SHOULD HAVE BEEN that year :steam ) That coupled with the 2000 Notre Dame game in South Bend when the entire endzone by Touchdown Jesus erupted when Crouch scored the winning TD are maybe my top two.

I think we would have won the title that year. Mike and Ralph Brown would have shut down Peter Warrick in the Sugar Bowl. If only we didn't fumble on every play.

No.

Freaking.

Kidding.

It was criminal how much those backs and Crouch/Newcombe put the ball on the ground that year. Those fumbles coupled with Mack Brown coaching circles around Solich were the only reasons Texas snuck away with a win in Oct.

I remember my family had a van with a tv in it, and we were watching that game on the way to a pumpkin patch. We were all freaking out because of all the mistakes. The only blemish on an otherwise perfect season.
