The only way we could be upset is if the whole team is looking past the first (and second) game and thinking about USC. This board has mostly been about USC and Sam Keller (no impact till 2007 for heaven's sake!). I know its a great way to pass the time till Sept 2 gets here, but I hope the team is concentrating on the business of playing ONE GAME AT A TIME.

I don't know that they are confident as much as they are excited to start the season. There is no way they believe they can win. NO WAY
Why not? Anybody that can stink it up against Kansas like you guys did gives us hope.

That was also on the road, we play much differently at home.

Well aware of your victories over CU and Mich. I only mentioned Kansas because that's the only opponent we both faced last year. BTW, here are the stats of that game if you're interested:

After what Troy Edwards did in 1998 against us, they should be a little bit confident about this game. I am sure they don't have a guy like that on this year's team, but I still can't get out of my mind that they (he) set an ALL TIME NCAA record for a single player receiving yards in one game. (still stands today from what I know) :bang :bang
