Well the polls came out with both those team 1 and 2 but that does'nt make them any better then the rest of the top 10 Except maybe :devil (Missery & Kansas).
TO have a team no matter how bad their schedule was 12-0 and not playing in the NC game makes a farce out of the idea that every team has a shot at the NC.
If you played NCAA 2007 FOOTBALL ON X-BOX, Playstation and put those same records in, I wonder how many time they would come up with Ohio St and LSU being the top team to play in the NC. :band

LSU is comfortably ahead of OU in the coaches poll. The BCS formula does differentiate poll points, not just position, so a solid #2 is big for them.
Sagarin's ratings are out. The one he has to use for the BCS has VaTech #1, LSU #2, and OU #3. Ohio State #4. It looks like the other computer ratings don't come out until the announcement.
Based on early returns, it does indeed look like LSU vs Ohio St.
Kansas dropped to #8. Looks like they won't get a top 4 guaranteed BCS spot. The best hope for a 2nd BCS bowl for the Big 12 is the Orange, or the Sugar if the Rose Bowl takes Georgia over Illinois. I think the Fiesta will take ASU if they can.

Hawaii struggled against some very weak teams. They are nothing like Boise St of last year, and if they have to play against Georgia in the Sugar it will be very, very ugly for them. Hawaii only really looked good against Boise St. They deserve a BCS bowl. To put them in the championship tells every other school to find an easy conference and don't schedule any tough OOC games.
The NCAA Div 1A clearly is not giving the idea that every team has a shot at the NC, not without a playoff. Whatever made you think they did?
