Lucky Q&A

Q. How close are you to breaking a big run?

A. Real close. I felt that way on Saturday, returning kickoffs. It was real cold, so I couldn't feel my feet when I was moving. But I've got to get that last step, and I think I'll be gone. I need to pick up my feet. I'm used to pulling away from people right off the bat. But they're fast here.

Q. Is your pass protection improving?

A. It's going fine. I haven't got a chance to get in a game and prove myself. It'll come, though. I just can't wait to get to that point. Right now, I'm just being patient. Cory (Ross) is a senior. I'm going to make the best of my situation.

Q. In what area does this offense most need improvement?

A. Probably on the line. We've got some good players. I think they can be great, but they've got to keep working. We've all got to keep working. Our offense is a long way from being as good as it can be. We're not bad right now, but there's always room for more work.

Q. Do you expect to get more time as a receiver this season?

A. I hope. They know I've got hands. I haven't been getting the chance too much. But if they need me, I'm here.

I thought he looked excellent as a returner. Glad to hear he's confident in his pass blocking skills. Tough comments about the line.

i think he answered those questions perfectly... hes confident and he knows he will get his shot in the near future. its great to have a team player like that who can tell it like it is sometimes. not only is he bright, he has a bright future!

I liked his comments also...

But I wouldnt go as far as to say he is bright...I remember waiting on him to make a grade high enough to become eligible to play D1.

I agree with him though...That one more step is whats keeping him from breaking one.

same one as tommy lee????? He probably isn't as ignorant as some of the fence posts that have played sports in the NCAA.

Kinda what I was thinking. Wait till Boulder the day after thanksgiving. :thumbs

sometimes I'm surprisedhowmanywarm weather kids play FB.......

I'm kinda surprised that they are not all pansies yet. I mean... Thereare some people in warm weather states who freak at the sight of rain,no less snow....... Sometimes it's surprising that they are tough enough to puton the pads........

But hey, I'm just alittle bitter in that regard, so don't mind me.

I don't think I could live without winter.

And I don't think that I could stand football without the elements in play.

It's not "track-with-ball", it's football- America's game.

rant about championship games.........

More so than any other game, I think weather should be a factor. I mean... I can understand that they want max attendance, and etc etc.... but for honor's sake, do it the oldschool way.

Imagine playing football in snow in January

:woo :woo :woo

California boyz. <_<

Yeah, I live by North Hollywood. The temps dip into the upper 50s at night and everyone is making a mad dash to the store for space heaters, gloves, & hats.
