Lunch Ideas

If you want to know what to eat instead of where, my brother has a friend who has solved that problem. He travels a lot and eats on the road all the time. He never orders. He simply tells the waitress to bring something she thinks he will like. Just surprise him.
Every time I have done this I have also got awesome food.

I did it on one of my business trips to Puerto Rico. I wanted to eat more of the local cuisine so every time I went into a restaurant, I simply would say..."surprise me with something you think I would like".

I ate some fantastic food.

Two corn dogs, a tomato and a beef stick from the butcher shop across the street. Quick meal for a busy day.

Made two sammiches with toast, mayo and mustard, and home grown tomatoes and cucumbers. From garden to table in five minutes. Tastey!

You know what's really good? Sliced cucumbers and horseradish sauce.

Easy horseradish sauce: 1/4 cup mayonnaise, two TBSP prepared horseradish, 1 tsp olive oil, dash of white pepper.

My grandpa would have sliced cucumbers in a cream sauce (probably similar to what you are describing) almost every day in the summer time. Grandma would pick the cucumbers from her garden, slice them up, and he would have it with his dinner (at 4 pm, hahahaha).
