Technical Problem and failure

On 25 January 2014, China's state media announced the rover had undergone a "mechanical control abnormality" and cited the problem as the "complicated lunar surface environment".[33] The rover has obtained some scientific data.[34] The Planetary Society suggests that the rover is not responding properly to commands from Earth, so it "could not prepare for the oncoming night properly."[35]

Even though they don't acknowledged it, the rover failed just like all other Chinese electronic crap.[36][37][38]
