Maine Game is on PPV

Someone mentioned earlier that the Maine game is going to be on TV according to an inside source. I can't find that post, so i am just going to post it here. The University was contacted by Fox Sports friday about televising the game and the University has accepted that offer.

The Maine game will be a 6pm televise and only certain regions are going to get it (unless you have directv or dishnetwork). This is confirmed, it's not specualtion on my part. The only other thing that i know is Kent Pavelka will be part of the broadcast team for the Fox PPV telecast. I don't have any info on who the main play by play announcer will be, but someone mentioned a radio person from the Topeka area (that part is speculation).

The University has already contacted Cox and Comcast and Fox PPV has done the same with Directv and Dishnetworks about keeping that time slot open for a PPV event.

From my understanding, Cox and comcast will begin running the PPV ads begining either Thursday or Friday

If you don't have cox, comcast or any satellite feed, i suggest you find the closest Husker sports bar in your area and find out if they plan on airing it

This is GREAT news...if I can pick it up in the cabin I'll be at in Grand Lake, CO :bang

Maybe I'll have to talk the clan into driving into Denver to Croc's...they should have it.

 
If its as bad as last years western illinois game which I'm sure it will be, I probs won't spend the bucks and will listen to the great jim rose. :bang

 
Coloradans For Nebraska have an agreement with Fox & Hounds Bars and Grill here in metro Denver to provide TV coverage for Husker fans. I can share addresses, if you give me an area that you'll likely be near.

I lived in Denver for 2 years...if NU was televised in some capacity, Croc's in LODO would pick it up. Do ALL the Fox and Hounds in Denver pick up the Big Red? I guess I'm only familiar with the one in South Denver.

I may have to Hi speed down the I-10 to Phoenix yuck. AR will u do a cheap rep for a ticket?????? My wife might let me drive the 04 TL :lol:

Wont go to LA way too dangerous if LP is still out. :)

Man, I really hope Dish has it. I really don't want to drive down to Denver alone to go to a bar. I'm not even legal drinking age yet!

Dood, I lived and learned to fly in Broomfield, u can drive it just stay sober. No problem spot u 14 points. :lol: course we're not talkin drivers licenses :)

In all seriousness, the only bar I've ever been in alone is the Elks Club and that's because I practicaly grew up there and know every single member and their extended families. Going to Denver alone is not something I really care to do.
