He's been in the majors for 14 years. 4 time all star. He had a heckuva run. I remember an interview with Frank Solich after the fact back when Crawford signed his letter of intent to play QB for Nebraska but then later opted for baseball and Solich basically said Crawford could have came in a started right away for the Huskers he was that good. The fact that we had Crouch at QB that year is really saying something.

I actually was just thinking about this when I was watching the Dodgers play the Cubs. He just didn't look explosive or that he'd lost some athleticism.

Oh well. If he doesn't catch on somewhere, I wish him all the best with the rest of his life.

 
the Royals have had bad luck this season.

I haven't paid as close attention as I would if I were a Royals Fan. But, How many of their players have missed games this year due to injury?

Must be the curse of last year's WS. Mets have been in a similar boat.

Wright, Duda and d'Arnaud have missed major time. Now Cespedes and Lagares are in and out of the lineup.

Salvy missed almost two weeks.

 
Almora is probably my favorite Cubs prospect. Awesome to see him play yesterday. He even tallied an RBI. For being 22, he's got an incredibly bright future.

I really liked the Schwarbe/Bryant combo last year. The firepower those two output was nuts.
