guys, bear with me. is it possible that te'o's gf was also his gma? that would explain a lot. the shame, the secrecy, the departing.

 
I refuse to believe that she doesn't exist unless its posted by EZ-E, Paul Crewe or Speed! This is HUSKERBOARD! If these guys don't post it, it's not factual!

 
I think it's entirely plausible the school or someone affiliated with the school (booster) set this whole thing up for pure publicity ($$$). There are waaaaaay to many holes in this story for T'eo at the very least be involved. Consider the NC beat down karma.

I'm not much of a reader but I'd read that. What if Manti actually pens the book under a fictional name. Manti telling the story about how he catfishes himself so epically that he actually believes he has a girlfriend that isn't real. That's deep.

 
The Notre Dame AD says Te'o is the victim of the girlfriend hoax.....I say he's the perpetrator (as some of you are suspecting).....time will tell....
