I'm sorry, when I said he'd gotten better, I meant that he's become a better QB. I was not referencing his cockiness.

Running his mouth? Absolutely he is. Tons of players do the money signal, and if people draw attention to JFF doing it, it's just stupid.

 
tons of players didn't just beat the ncaa investigation for taking money for autographs. johnny did. people will pay more attention to him and he is stupid if he doesn't realize that.

That's the problem. Not that he's immature, but because he knows that he's immature and thinks that it's A-OK.

 
hate to say it, but i disagree with a lot of my husker brethren on this topic. obviously 'johhny football™' is so generous and charitable he was willing to go into hotel rooms with sleazy dudes and sign hundreds autographs out of the goodness of his heart. what a hero.

Don't worry, this Manziel thing is going to end like the Hindenburg...

Gets drafted earlier in the first round, realizes he can't hang in the NFL, cut from multiple teams, later found snorting coke out of a transvestite hookers butt crack...

Similar to jebus Teblow. Except for the hookers and coke. At least not yet.

Except that JFF has a lot more sound mechanics than Tebow and is not just a big bruiser who can also throw a little. Johnny is a GOOD quarterback...one who needs to grow up, but who has the fire, tools, and leadership to successful in the pros.

But time will tell, and really arguing about it (like I just did) is silly.
