Marijuana Laws

I believe marijuana should be legal now and will be legal within my lifetime. I would not be against some type of test and limit for driving under the influence, but it should be legal.

 
Just don't feel strongly about it. I'm not even sure if I'd buy any ganja if it became legal in my state. Oh, I prolly would. For old times sake. lol

 
No reason for it to still be illegal. Marijuana laws are antiquated and are based on negative propoganda and decades of misunderstanding. Alcohol and cigarettes are both more dangerous drugs, but they come without the negative social stigma.

 
Marijuana exhibits similar behavioral and physical problems as alcohol. So if alcohol is legal and can be wildly abused, why shouldn't marijuana be afforded the same status?

 
My younger age, 19 to 22 years old, I used to be a heavy pot (daily) and at the same time, excessive alcohol, mostly beer. If choosing MJ or beer, then I prefer cannabis, much safer both body and behaviors (IMO).

I never tried heroin, crystal meth and cocaine drugs but I used .....

- LSD: 2 or 3 times. Take it or leave it.

- Psilocybin Mushrooms: Half a dozen times. I always scared because potential mushroom poisoning. That is why I quit.

- Illegal Speed pills: A.K.A. "White cross". Many times in younger age era.

Obviously, smoke inhalation is not good for your lungs. But you don't have to smoke cannabis to get the effects. In fact, it's not even the best way.

But yeah, there are great medical benefits.

Marijuana does not have the same effects as alcohol.. thats just ridiculous. As for inhaling smoke not being good for you.... Marijuana actually treats asthma. The overall benefits completely outweigh the negatives.
