Martinez Not Worried About Road Noise

I haven't seen any estimates. I don't think we'll know until the game starts and we see the amount of Red in the stadium.
Some estimates have it as many at 25,000 Husker Fans will be in attendance. Whether that holds true or not remains to be seen but it would not surprise me if it's true. I believe we had as many as 30K fans in the Coliseum when we played USC a few years ago

They have no streak. They didn't sell 10,000 tickets to the Syracuse game.

Something tells me Husky Stadium won't be nearly as loud this time as our past trips. Or if it is, it'll be when Washington has the ball. I'm not going to be surprised at all to see that stadium 40% filled with red-clad fans.
Their streak of un-sell outs comes to an end Saturday

We win this game easy ,if roy and burkhead have a BIG game which I think they will.Roy looks alott faster this year. That run against idaho was something to watch I dont think they had 1 hand on him. Any one knoe if jones will get some playing time this weekend? Jones runs well as far as I seen so far

I tend to agree with this. I think we'll see a much heavier dose of Rex/Roy this game and we will grind it out. The game will be close in the first half, but we'll dominate the second and break a few big plays. The D will do its thing as usual and we'll have a couple of big plays on special teams as well.

Good ground game, good special teams, both returns and kicks/punts, great D = comfortable road win.

and we have much more depth, which bodes well for a strong second half. we just have to maintain our intensity and focus for 4 quarters. they need to remember to 'finish'.

Yup, and I think after losing focus in the first two games, they won't do it again.

exactly, look at the change at defense from game one to two. hopefully the offense, after a poor showing, will put their best product on the field we have yet seen.

Just grabbed this little excerpt from an article in the Seattle Times. I would think Watson and the offense would be liking their chops right now!

Now comes Martinez, a redshirt freshman, making his first road start. But unlike Barkley, the Cornhuskers QB is more likely to make life miserable with his feet.

Washington has seen a spread offense similar to Nebraska's, and the results were telling: Oregon carved up Washington for 980 yards rushing in the last three meetings.

Nebraska enters Saturday with the third best rush offense in the country, averaging 324.5 yards in the first two games.

no, the husky fans will be nice and quiet when you have the ball. i mean, it might as well be a home game for NU. the fans will not factor in at all. :sarcasm

With 20K Nebraska fans, I doubt anyone is worried.
i'm not going to say anything else, cuz thats what we want you to think
In all seriousness, I'd like a couple of the Husky fans to come back on here after the game and let us know what the crowd ratio was. Husker fans pride themselves on being the best traveling fans in the nation, so I'm curious how it looks to the Pacific NW crowd.
