martinez physical condition?

I'm throwing a wild guess um 90% depending on the turf toe. Which I hear could take awhile to heal. Plus that ankle is gunna be weak and prone to rolling for awhile. But if he is following threw physical therapy. I think he could be very close to 100% come game time.

Gonna have to ask him yourself!

I really don't think the injuries will be the factor. I think his confidence will. After the Oklahoma game he might try to second guess him self too much. But its Washington so maybe I'm just talking out of my a$$.

Oh and my exact estimation is that his ankle is 92.6 and a half % and his turf toe is 88.9% maybe 91.4%...................

He will be fine physically for the bowl.

More importantly is will he mentally finally make it to a game. You may say well look at UW, K St, or okie lite games. He did great in those. However, he had at least one fumble in each of those games. Now fumbles can be just bad luck or good hits, but many of his seem to be more of a lack of focus on securing the ball. The same goes for most of his INTs this year.

I just hope he learns how to focus more and not be so "cali laid back" with the football.

I'll be happy if he can just figure-out when to ditch the dang ball, his inability to do that probably cost us the OU-game. Wish Wats could put some little shock/impulse device on him and hit it when the kid needs to ditch, or run if there is any room. But this is what happens when you play a freshman-qb.

I'd imagine he'll be at-least 90% for the game, should have some realy playmaking ability with his wheels for the first time since the first-half of the Mizzou-game.

Isn't that an oxymoron?

i think taylor will be fine.

a lot talk about his lack of decision making in the OU game.

the kid was obviously hurt. beginning to end. it doesnt fall on him that the coach(es) kept asking him to do things he wasnt picked for as the starting qb in the beginning of the year to do. especially when those things called for him to run plays to avoid his prior injury, that only put him in a position to get f'd up even more.

all those that say he's a quitter, re-watch the game. especially the second half. tell me, what exactly do you see that says 'quit' in there?

the guy showed enormous heart. reminded me of ganz's effort in the gator bowl. difference being ganz was a senior and had a more refined tool set to fall back on. oh, and he wasnt injured going into the game. still, ganz doesnt touch taylor for talent.

all the drama that taylor created himself, was magnified by the fanbase and blown completely overboard. i honestly wonder what some of you expected out of a freshman qb that literally carried the offense on his back when he was healthy.

i fully expect taylor to shut a lot of people up in the bowl game. i look forward to it.

Yes it is. I hope that isn't the only thing you see wrong with that paragraph
