I wasnt able to watch much of the game but what I did notice is that Martinez when replaced by Carnes he was on the sideline signaling plays to him. Last year I don't think he would have done that.

A. He was injured.

B. NU had enough bodies at the position to do the signaling.

C. He wouldn't help anyone else potentially take "his position" :sarcasm

Yeah, I think last year if the coaches woulda said he had to signal in plays when he left the game, he woulda done it. You think the coaches might have something to do with what he does or doesnt do, and that he just doenst do what he feels like?

I'm approximately 300% sure that this has to do with the change in OC/QB coach, and nothing to do with the QB.

I'm also guessing he was the decoy signaler. Wasn't there someone next to him also signalling? When they showed him, he was cracking up like maybe he signaled something odd.

This seems like something that should be a thread.
anymore? probably, i was about to start a thread about how booing fans affect our rankings and if bo will be able to maintain composed on the sideline and during post-game interviews as a result.

The reason I started this was because I thought it was a good thing. Him being out there engaged in the game when he wasnt playing. Not dogging the kid, to me it shows some maturity and growth.

Well you sure didn't do a very good job at describing it the 1st time. hahaha

I'll tell you what I noticed today. Taylor quietly played another very good game. There were three or four bad drops today; the receivers probably cost him another 80 passing yards and a couple of TDs. The only big mistakes that I can remember off the top of my head were a couple of poor pitches, so all in all another encouraging performance.

Agreed, he's gonna have to have a better game next week.
