****Maryland Game Day Thread****

Funny, how watching the game brings no emotion. Nebraska is close to losing the fans. No reason to plop down $300+ with tickets, parking, food, etc.

I can watch this from home, or eventually a better game.

Win, lose, no big emotion. It's like watching any other unranked team. It's hard for the administration to raise money (and ask for crazy donations) when the product is average.

Better than 4 wins for 2-3 coaches, but still at or below average so far. Got to win 6. Maryland is not ranked for a reason.
Be careful. Last week I was mocked because I said I was not surprised we did not get ranked.

Well I figured my personal sports fandom would only see one positive result at best today, and this is one I really didn't care about. The real game is in Milwaukee in two hours. Alas I'm not liking the chances on that one either

I am beginning to wonder if the Rhule experiment has run its course?? OK that may be an over reaction. But I have my doubts. When I see other teams bouncing back after a coach transition and performing well, I really question where we are in year 3. Watching other teams on TV today, including Indiana, I see more speed, more toughness, and just

Too bad they’re freshman qb is more poised than our sophomore.
He’s a way better QB. He’ll play on Sundays.

Defense is getting shredded
I’ve known the whole year the defense is not very good. DL gets pushed around and can’t pressure or TFL. Safeties are slow. Cincy was so stupid in that first game. In a game like today where Raiola turns the ball over it totally exposes our weak defense. Without that kick return and lucky Lindy TD and minus some of their stupid penalties we are blown out.
