****Maryland Game Day Thread****

I always have to remind myself of this. Today's college football is completely different than it was even 10 years ago, let alone 30. Money has completely changed this game.

Maryland has good talent -- a lot of young, excellent talent.

I have to accept that any win against P4, especially Big 10 teams, is a good win.

True, money change everything...not always for the better

Pitt beat FSU. Texas beats OU. Northwestern beat PSU. Indy beat Oregon. Point being, I agree with you. A win against a P4 is a good thing. And we are s l o w l y starting to win some of those one score games.

As I was saying! It's Lateef time

I need to see Lateef. The Railoa experiment has run its course.

Bring in Lateef. Might be good for Raiola to see a few series. Sometimes you just have that kind of day

Put Lateef in. He's more the style of QB we should be having in this offense one that can also use his legs and get yards and not just extend passing plays.

Lateef time?

I still have no idea if the TD throw was luck or skill. I know Rhule talked about it being great because it was high enough to avoid the defender and let Key grab it, but I honestly think Raiola had no idea the DBs swapped coverage and that it was being undercut. Especially since he said he "blacked out" making the throw. It's awesome either way, as a fan I have no shame enjoying good outcomes even if they come from a bad process. But to me that looks like Maryland knew exactly what was coming, had the exact right defense in place, and the throw was either incredible, lucky, or both.
