He is throwing off his back foot a lot. Not transferring your weight tends to make the ball sail. Most of the passes he's missed have been high. Sometimes the receivers can still jump and catch them the but are very vulnerable. They haven't gotten hit much the last couple games but it's still a problem. He's lucky Austin is 6-8 or he would have overthrown him on the big play. Same deal when he overthrew Spielman but got away with it.
There could be a lot of things that go into that. He's gotten a lot stronger so I wonder if he isn't trying to "muscle" the ball too much instead of using his entire body. Obviously being out of sync earlier in the year and then injured can mess up your mechanics as well. Probably a combination of things. Hasn't been quite as bad the last couple games but still has work to do.
