Why not?Scott Shanle does not. Says he is only buying N volleyball gear from here on out
That is very possible, and if that happens, that shouldn’t be an indictment on Rhule and his new staff. If you aren’t prepared for some potential bad news during a transition, you aren’t being realistic. If Mickey leaves, a lot of recruits and commits move on.
Supposedly he heard Rhule mentioned was being hired 2 weeks ago from one of his NFL buddies and that guy wasn’t positive on Rhule. It’s ok. People are going to have differing opinions. Why not?
IMO this stat is being a bit over-used.During Rhules' tenure at Baylor his teams never beat a ranked team. How's that for a stat.

I don't think we just settled on a coach like he is talking about but everyone has a opinion.Scott Shanle does not. Says he is only buying N volleyball gear from here on out
Yeah....sounds like Rhule was offered a couple of weeks ago and Alberts had to go back with an increased offer.
I have been saying all along, that is a lazy stat. Doing homework you will find exactly what you pointed out and that his teams beat many 8-3 teams. I am more concerned about did he win the games he was supposed to win. We need to do that FIRSTIMO this stat is being a bit over-used.
Yes, he did not beat a ranked team. That is a disappointment. But, Texas finished the 2019 season ranked #25 (whom Baylor beat on Nov. 23 that year) and Baylor was a field goal away in OT with Oklahoma. And that's all after the fact he took over not only a program in disarray, but started coaching at a university in disarray. Imagine what it was like having to recruit to a place with all the crap they had going on.
Winning matters, so I won't disregard the statistic completely. He'll need to prove himself here. But, the fact he didn't get that particular achievement unlocked at Baylor doesn't hold much weight with me in terms of the immediate goals and needs of the program.

Guess he was waiting to do that for Nebraska...
